What makes you click “Start Reading” right now?
Lately I feel like story titles don’t hit the same anymore. What kind of titles or one-line descriptions actually make you stop scrolling and start reading? Are you more into plot twists, forbidden love, or chaotic drama? I need new inspiration because my old formulas feel dead.
From my experience on my-passion, short and bold titles work best. I started using lines that sound like secrets, for example: “He Was Never Supposed to Be Mine.” When I check engagement on this book reading app, I see people react more to emotional tension than to perfect romance. I’d suggest focusing on pain, risk, or a strange twist. That’s what really pulls readers in now.
