Platform for relationships
Hello everyone, I’m 68 and have been widowed for several years. For a long time, I wasn’t interested in dating because I needed time to heal and focus on rebuilding my life. Recently, though, I’ve started feeling like companionship would be nice again.
My biggest concern is that many dating apps seem overwhelming and designed for younger users who are looking for casual conversations. I’d rather find something that feels respectful and more aligned with this stage of life. Has anyone here had success finding a platform that focuses on meaningful relationships?
Hi! I went through something very similar after losing my spouse, so I understand how difficult that first step can feel. The dating world has changed a lot, but there are now platforms that cater to people who value emotional depth, shared experiences, and slower-paced conversations.

I spent quite a bit of time researching before signing up anywhere because I didn’t want to waste time on apps that weren’t right for me. Reading reviews really helped me feel more confident.

One of the most useful things I found was a Park Magazine article with Sequel review and explained why so many people over 60 are giving it a try. It’s a good place to learn more before deciding.
