I’ve received a job offer in Greece and I’m preparing my Greece work permit application. I’m curious whether knowledge of the Greek language is mandatory for approval.

Does immigration require proof of Greek language skills, or does it depend on the employer and job type? My role will mainly involve working in an international environment where English is used.

If anyone has recently applied for a Greece work permit, please share whether language proficiency was part of the requirements.
